Under Projected Nose

In this situation, the tip of the nose does not protrude enough and the profile or side view as a result is not attractive. The bridge of the nose appears too high somewhat like a nasal hump or bump when in actuality it may not be high but only the tip has fallen backward. There are entire families in which the bridge is attractive and in good position, but the tip is weak and fallen back. Therefore, they have all inherited weakly supported nasal tips. Other patients have had prior rhinoplasty where tip support was not created or reestablished and therefore, the tip did not remain in the best or most attractive position. There are a variety of new sophisticated techniques that nicely address these issues.
